Austin Hogan is a 2014 OF/MIF with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Orlando, FL who attends Boone HS. Medium slender build, some developing strength. Switch hitter, shows some bat speed from both sides. More lift from the right side, can drive the right centerfield ally, good extension, uses lower half well to generate power. Gets coiled and loaded left handed, tends to cast hands to the ball, more pull contact. 7.44 runner, sound outfield fundamentals, quick release, good footwork, accurate throws. Excellent student. Named to the Top Prospect Team.
