Hayden Grant is a 2013 SS/OF, 3B with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Solana Beach, CA who attends Cathedral Catholic. Grant has a medium sized frame with a lean athletic build. He has good arm strength with carry on his throws. Defensively, Grant has good actions and is quick to the ball. He has soft sure hands with clean transfers. At the plate, he has a short quick swing and uses the whole field. Grant has a loose swing with good bat speed and he also made hard contact. He has a simple quiet approach at the plate and gets some extension in his swing. Solid all around tools, excellent student.
