Michael Hayworth is a 2013 C/1B with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Overland Park, KS who attends Blue Valley. Has a large frame. Behind the plate he catches easy, has an online arm, an arm that works, has good throws to second, and a good transfer and release. At the plate he has a slightly open stance, with a simple approach. Hits to all fields with a middle of the field approach, goes to the opposite field very well, has gap power, with extension, good rhythm, has a line drive swing plane, with a short swing. Is an interesting prospect to follow and is a good student.
