Austin Gryder is a 2013 LHP/OF with a 6-3 170 lb. frame from Cypress, TX who attends Tomball HS. Lean build, long arms and legs, good physical projection. High leg lift delivery, gets closed well, tends to drift and rush to the plate, arm works smoothly, long extended arm action, 3/4's slot. Upper 70's fastball, touched 80 mph, good life on FB, late sink and can generate glove side run. Big sweeping curveball has spin to develop. Should continue to improve with more strength.
