Carlos Ocasio is a 2013 SS/3B, OF with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Palm Bay, FL who attends Heritage Academy. Has a long lean athletic build. Switch hitter, from the left side, starts with a slightly open stance, aggressive approach with good pull side contact, stays short to ball, from the right side, has a live bat with gap to gap line drive approach with lift. Showed power from both sides of plate, defensively, good arm strength, smooth hands, makes it look easy. Takes good angles to ball on INF, has solid arm strength throwing 88 across diamond. Also pitches, over the top arm slot, fastball has good run and flashed a tight curveball and has life to change up. Good student, named to top prospect team.
