2004 National Academic Showcase
Sean Coleman is a 2005 third baseman/first baseman from Bonita Springs, FL. Coleman has a very projectable body with a 6'2", 175 lb. frame that is still maturing. He showed nice hands defensively that will allow him to play both corner positions. He hits with a no load, no stride approach with some extension and smoothness to his swing. In one of the Showcase games, he stayed inside the ball well and drove it to CF showing nice adjustability with his hands. He's an interesting player who projects to get stronger and better in the near future. Sean is a great student with a 1500 SAT score.
