Chase Belk is a 2015 RHP/MIF/3B with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Sumter, SC who attends Wilson Hall HS. Medium, slender, lean build, projects to add strength. Ran a 7.30 60 yard dash. Pitches from a three-quarter arm slot. Reaches 84 mph with his fastball and flashes good arm speed. Shows tight rotation on his 11-5 curveball at 72 mph. Also mixes a changeup with good arm speed. Throws strikes. Also swung the bat, works from a tall, open stance and looks to hit line drives. Needs to polish swing mechanics. Excellent student. Named to National Underclass Main Event Top Prospect Team.
