Kelly McCutchen is a 2015 LHP/1B with a 6-4 205 lb. frame from Atlanta, GA who attends The Westminster Schools HS. Big strong build. Long extended arm action, drop and drive delivery with a pronounced back side collapse, hides ball well and has deception. Fastball topped at 67 mph, have seen him up to the mid 70's this summer, soft curveball, has some feel for his change up, threw all his pitches for strikes and make hitters swing the bat. Left handed hitter, back side hitter, upright stance, upper cut swing plane, aggressive swing with some lift and raw bat speed, can drive the ball to the gaps and go the other way. Graded out higher as a position player at this event. Good student.
