Cade Edwards is a 2015 SS/2B with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Second Baptist HS. Smaller athletic build, has some wiry strength. Right handed hitter, open spread stance, low hand load, strides in with good weight shift, short quick swing, loose and extended out front, hunts the inside half and can get around on inside velocity and drive the ball, squared up consistently in games and showed gap power, more vulnerable on the outside part of the zone. 6.82 runner, very sure handed defender, good quick feet and always balanced, works through the ball well, has body control, accurate throws, second base arm strength and overall profile. Well rounded baseball player with skills. Very good student.
