Brock Keener is a 2014 C/1B, 3B with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Richmond, TX who attends Foster H S. Keener has a medium sized frame with a solid lean build. Defensively he has some catch and throw tools with a quick release. He makes online throws and is accurate. Keener works hard behind the plate and does a good job of blocking. Keener is a switch hitter and presently has better hitting tools from the left side. From the left side, Keener starts with a wide base and has a rotational approach. He looks to pull and has some pop. He generates bat speed and swings on a line drive plane. From the right side he hits to all fields and has more of a sweeping swing. Excellent student.
