Paul McIntosh is a 2017 C/1B/3B with a 6-0 220 lb. frame from Miami Gardens, FL who attends Next Level Academy. Big, extra strong build, maintains looseness and athleticism very well for his size. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance and rocks into his swing well, some barrel wrap but a short hand path to contact, creates barrel whip, swings hard and creates very good bat speed, ball explodes off the barrel when squared, timing consistency still developing but has big power potential. Has the athleticism and quickness to stay behind the plate defensively, actions are presently long and will need to be shortened up, plenty of arm strength, 1.96 best pop when everything in sync.
