Grant Otte is a 2013 LHP/1B with a 6-3 170 lb. frame from Clive, IA who attends Dowling Catholic. Long, lean frame with lots of projection in body. Compact motion, stays balanced and online. Hides ball very well. Arm works well, throws from 3/4 slot. Good arm action on changeup, sneaky fastball velocity, curveball has 2/8 break and big shape. More to come as body fills out. Left handed hitter, straight stance at plate, upright. Long stride, stays inside ball, line drive plane with middle to opposite field contact. Excellent student.
