Christian Demby is a 2015 RHP/3B with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Southwest Ranches, FL who attends St Thomas Aquinas HS. Long and lean athletic build, strong with room to get stronger, projects well physically. Long extended arm action with a hook in back, 3/4's arm action, some energy at release. Upper 80's fastball, topped out at 89 mph, has been up to 92 mph this summer, mostly straight with occasional arm side run, good downhill angle. Slurve type breaking ball with some occasional deep tilt, can develop into a power slider, tends to slow arm on softer breaking balls with curveball shape. 6.87 runner, showed his arm strength from the outfield. Right handed hitter, long swing with a high finish, has some hand speed when above the ball, tends to hit from underneath, has some power potential. Good student.
