Alex Perez is a 2013 RHP/OF with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Monsingor Pace HS. Medium frame with strength in his lower half. Very good athlete, body works well, good runner, 6.86 sixty yard dash. Easy velocity on mound from low 3/4 slot. Arm works well with clean circle. Long in the back with energy and some effort in his delivery. Attacks hitters and works quickly. Good mound presence. Fastball consistently mid 80s, up to 89 with arm side run. Curveball is big 11/5 breaker with shape, also showed changeup. Live armed righty with more in there with better use of lower half and balance. Good student. Named to Top Prospect Team.
