Tanner Richardson is a 5'10", 2005 catcher from Levelland, TX, with a stout, strong body. He showed playable tools on defense and handled the pitchers very well. Richardson showed good foot quickness on his throws to second base. Richardson hits left handed from a tall, narrow stance with a rotational swing. He used his strength to create good bat speed during batting practice and hit some balls very hard. During games, Richardson was pulling off the ball a little, with his front foot. He is athletic and ran a good 7.15 60 yds. He's a good player who we wish we could see a lot more of. Tanner is a good student.
