Justus Nelson is a 2013 C/2B with a 5-8 170 lb. frame from Plymouth, MN who attends Armstrong HS. Medium build with strength in lower half. Good feet behind the plate. Transfer and release work. Accurate throws with good carry. Has arm strength. Patient hitter at the plate. Low hand set with busy hands pre-swing. Long swing with rotational bat speed. Uppercut swing with lift. Made contact to the middle of the field and showed the ability to go gap to gap. Very good student.
