Derek Reilly is a 2015 SS/2B with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Anaheim, CA who attends El Dorado. Medium frame, lean build. Good in game approach, battles well with two strikes, solid bat speed, pull approach with a long stride. Good defensive actions, attacks the baseball and has good range with a high motor. Hands work well, quick release on throws, arm strength makes him a better fit at second base but has high level defensive potential at that position at the next level. Good student.
