Daniel Luckett is a 2015 C/RHP with a 6-3 175 lb. frame from El Cajon, CA who attends Foothills Christian High School. Large frame, tall lean athletic build with room to fill, projects well. Big offensive upside, solid bat speed and projects for further development of bat speed and strength, already showing solid power and the projected strength and bat speed increases would likely translate into big power development so long as he is able to maintain his quality body control and weight shift through contact that he currently shows. Quiet setup behind the plate, quick arm, short stride on catch and throw mechancis. Also pitched and sat 82-84 from an over the top arm slot with a compact arm action, threw strikes, good extension out front, four pitch mix. Good student. Named to the Sunshine West Top Prospect Team.
