Roberto Rodriguez is a 2014 2B/OF with a 5-4 142 lb. frame from Riviera Beach, FL who attends Palm Beach Lakes HS. Rodriguez has a smaller frame with a compact build. Defensively he has good hands with quick transfers. He has developing arm strength and projects best at 2B. Rodriguez has solid defensive actions and plays through the ball well. At the plate, Rodriguez is a switch hitter who is presently better from the right side. From the right side he has a short swing with a contact approach. He gets better extension and bat speed from the right side. From the left side, he has the same approach and made consistent line drive contact. Good student.
