Macen McGee is a 2015 LHP/1B with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from Pope, MS who attends South Panola HS. Slender young build, plenty of room to get stronger. High hand, posed delivery with big pause over the rubber, quick loose arm action, low to mid 3/4's arm slot, not consistent with release point, arm works well out front. Fastball topped at 82 mph, looks like he is throwing harder and has some deception, some feel for a change up with cutting action, big soft curveball with some depth and bite at times. Throws best to his glove side. Projectable arm and body and unusual mechanics can work for him with more consistency. Good student.
