Matthew Lewis is a 2014 SS/2B with a 5-7 150 lb. frame from Montrose, PA who attends Montrose Area. Medium athletic build with lots of room to add strength. Moves well in the infield, aggressive fielder who surrounds ball. Quick release with arm, skills translate well to 2B. Right handed hitter. Very aggressive at plate, hand hitch load, out on front foot with weight. Good contact skills. Swing is short and compact. Good baserunner who runs hard and takes extra base. Good student.
