Niko Jenkins is a 2016 SS/RHP with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Potomac, MD who attends St Johns Literary Institution. Medium, proportioned frame with room to mature. Shows sound, smooth infield actions and moves athletically. Should be more arm strength on the way. Bats from the right side, works from a balanced setup and shows above average bat speed. Hits to the middle of the field and shows flashes of very good bat speed. Also took the mound, reaches 78 mph with his fastball and flashes a curveball with good 11-5 depth. Has a compact delivery and repeats his over the top arm slot well. Good student.
