Hall is a 6-3 215 lb left handed pitcher/outfielder from Florida with a strong, athletic build that looks like it has seen plenty of weight work. Although he lists himself as a primary left handed pitcher, we like Hall more as an outfielder. He’s a good athlete who ran 7.09 on the slow, wet track and showed good arm strength from the outfield at 81 mph. Hall has a balanced approach at the plate with a short, rotational swing and a quick bat that shows some power potential on contact. On the mound, Hall throws from a overhand release point and had trouble bringing his 73-75 mph fastball down into the strike zone. He also threw a 61-65 mph curveball. We strongly suspect that we saw Hall on a bad day on the mound and that he can throw much better. Hall is an excellent student.
