Adam Laskey is a 2016 LHP with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Barrington, NJ who attends Haddon Heights HS. Large athletic build, good present strength with more to come. Leg raise delivery, stays tall on his backside, some crossfire at release, arm is loose and fast and the ball comes out of his hand easily. Fastball to 91 mph, good arm side running action, works best to his arm side with his fastball. Tight slider with good two-plane break, gets depth on the pitch and throws it for strikes or as a chase pitch with intent, has feel for the pitch. Slows arm a bit on his change up but also has feel and good life. Southpaw with three good present pitches and lots of potential for improvement. Outstanding student, verbal commitment to Duke.
