He pitches from a high 3/4 arm slot with a short arm circle in back. He has developing arm speed and has an online delivery. Whiteman hides the ball well and pitches to the outside part of the plate well. He uses a shorter stride and has a repeatable delivery. He throws an 11/5 curveball with developing shape and spin to it. Defensively, Whiteman has developing actions on the infield with nice hands.
