Aaron Schunk is a 2016 SS/RHP with a 6-2 178 lb. frame from Decatur, GA who attends The Lovett School. Long and lean young athletic build, high waist and long limbs. Right handed hitter, good timing and shift in his swing, short and quick swing, gets to his front side on time, shows present bat speed with more to come, solid line drive swing with gap power, swung the bat very well in games, mature hitter with nice repeatable mechanics. 7.06 runner, good lateral quickness in the field defensively, stays balanced well, good footwork on his backhand and charges the ball well, plenty of raw arm strength. Did not pitch at this event but has been up to 90 mph on the mound as well. Projects in all areas. Good student, verbal commitment to Georgia.
