Samuel (Sammy) Singer is a 2016 OF with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from North Bethesda, MD who attends Sidwell Friends HS. Medium, athletic build with solid present strength and room to project going forward. Solid footspeed, ran a 7.03 60-yard dash. Right handed hitter, extended, deep hand load, shows solid present bat speed, swings hard. Rotational elements to swing, solid use of upper half, could more consistently utilize lower half and tap into strength. Shows ability to work middle of the field and wear out the gaps. Solid outfielder, charges well, shows ability to work through the ball. Strong, accurate arm. Has continued to improve over the years, projects well. Excellent student.
