Douglas Mendenhall is a 2014 RHP/1B with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Warwick, NY who attends Warwick Valley. Tall, long pitcher's build with projection. Slow paced delivery on the mound, stays balanced. Loose arm with long arm action in back. Stays tall backside. Online delivery. Works downhill and down in zone with fastball. Sharp slider with late break is good secondary pitch. Maintains arm action on changeup, good potential on mound. Solid defensively at 1B, short arm action, arm strength plays with online accuracy. Right handed hitter, leg lift trigger, long swing with some lift. Excellent student.
