Jacob Clark is a 2016 RHP/1B with a 6-1 200 lb. frame from Highlands Ranch, CO who attends Rock Canyon HS. Large frame with some present strength that projects. Primary right-handed pitcher, works from a compact arm action with a high three-quarter arm slot. Good pace and balance to delivery, stays over the rubber well, works quickly and fills up the strike zone with both pitches. Gets inside his fastball, generating arm side run in the 78-80 mph range. Curveball at 71 mph shows short break with occasional depth. Shows athleticism at first base, footwork plays off the bag, height makes him an easy target to throw to. Right-handed batter, shows bat speed, bit of an uppercut in swing. Created consistent contact to the opposite field. Strength to right centerfield gap with more to come when lower half is incorporated into swing. Very good student.
