Kevin Connor is a 2013 LHP with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Bryn Mawr, PA who attends IMG Academy. Strong athletic build, fairly mature. Fast paced side step delivery, 3/4's arm slot, some downhill angle to the plate. Mid 80's fastball topped out at 86 mph, nice late life on fastball, short action but gets off the barrel effectively. Tends to shorten arm arch on curveball, gets good spin and big sweeping break, slows arm on change up but has some feel and life. Will need to improve consistency of off speed mechanics but both shows signs of being good pitches. Mixes his pitches well, throws strikes and gets quick outs. Has the tools to keep improving. Very good student, signed with Boston College.
