Edward "EP" Reese is a 2016 OF with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Lexington, NC who attends North Davidson HS. Shorter compact build with good present strength. 6.63 runner, quick first step in the outfield and on defense, sound defensive actions through the ball and throwing, strong arm with on line carry and accuracy, athletic ability evident in his defensive actions. Left handed hitter, gets loaded on his backside with a deep hand load, spread stance with a limited stride but good hip/lower half action, swings hard and has very good bat speed, explodes his hands at the ball and looks to drive it, timing was consistently on point, hard line drive middle of the field approach, high average hitter with gap power and a feel for hitting the ball. Good student, verbal commitment to North Carolina State.
