Zack DelVecchio is a 2016 RHP with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Braintree, MA who attends Braintree HS. Medium, athletic build with broad shoulders and room to fill out with additional strength through frame. Primary right-handed pitcher, works exclusively out of the stretch with a quick arm action and mid three-quarter release. High leg lift up past belt with a slight hip turn, steady pace to delivery overall, works over front side well and generates extension out front. Attacks with fastball and fills up the zone, topped at 84 mph with short running life down in the zone. Shows ability to work to glove side and get in on hitters, mixes three pitches effectively for strikes as well. Best off speed feel is for changeup, mimics arm action and shows nice fading action down in the zone at 77 mph. Curveball flashes 11-5 shape with some depth when on top of ball.
