Trevor Gustavson is a 2017 C/1B/3B with a 6-1 215 lb. frame from Ashland, MA who attends St Johns HS. Big and strong athletic build. Receives the ball well behind the plate, strong hands, good exchange and release throwing, developing arm strength. Right handed hitter, even spread stance, tends to lean upper body into pitches, loose swing with simple overall mechanics, has some lift in his swing and lots of power for a sophomore, showed he could go the opposite way with authority as well, patient approach, has hitting tools and strength to continue to develop. Good student.
