Charlie Houghton is a 2016 RHP/3B with a 5-10 148 lb. frame from Fort Myers, FL who attends Bishop Verot HS. Medium frame, projectable young body, athletic build. Pitches from a high three quarters arm slot, short arm circle in back, gets behind the ball, lacks ideal extension at present, will benefit from finishing pitches better. Developing arm speed, smooth delivery with balance, 12-6 shape on curveball, threw a lot of strikes, pitched to contact effectively. Very good student.
