Alexis Joel Perez is a 2013 2B/IF with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from San Juan, PR who attends Colegio Espíritu Santo. Athletic, medium frame, wiry, quick twitch player, has some room to grow. Ran a 6.72 60 yard. Solid infield actions, body stays under control, good transfer, hands work well, profiles perfectly at second base. Right-handed hitter, hits from a wide base, simple approach, wraps the bat in setup, two handed back swing. Consistent line drive contact, good swing plane, bat has some quickness, aggressive looking hitter, sound approach. Excellent student.
