Austin Holcomb is a 2015 3B/IF with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Woodland, WA who attends Woodland HS. Medium, strongly built, mature frame. Ran a 7.41 60 yard dash. Shows a long, loose arm action on the infield and flashes raw arm strength. More arm on the way. Fields from a wide setup and has the hands to play a corner infield position. Bats from both sides of the plate, shows a consistent approach from each. Has a simple swing and flashes big pull power from the right side. Has a tall, open setup and generates good leverage. Hits hard line drives in game action and stays in the middle of the field. Good student.
