Cameron Jabara is a 2016 RHP/IF with a 6-3 179 lb. frame from Newport Beach, CA who attends Newport Harbor HS. Large frame with lean, well-proportioned, muscular build, still projects well with room to fill out. Easy, deliberate pace out of windup with slight hip coil and pause at top of leg lift, picks up momentum late, lands online to plate, can occasionally spin over frontside. Loose, extended arm-action, works to a 3/4's arm slot. Fastball up to 90 mph, shows ability to consistently locate offering down in the strike zone. Good feel for changeup, maintains good armspeed and arm-action on offering. Pitch flashes very good fading action, late dive out of hitters' swing paths. Also flashed developing feel for both a curveball with 11-5 shape and sweeping slider. Very good student, verbal commitment to Oregon.
