Nathan Rodriguez is a 2014 C/1B with a 5-11 190 lb. frame from Yorba Linda, CA who attends El Dorado HS. Strong athletic build, fairly mature physically. Quick and compact defensive actions, very aggressive blocker with good technique, works very hard behind the plate, good arm strength with a quick release, has leadership qualities at a leadership position. Right handed hitter, bent knee stance, high hand start, gets to his front side well and uses his strength, swings hard and will have power at the next level. Coming off knee injury and played as if he had something to prove and did. High level prospect. Signed with Arkansas.
