Zeke Young is a 2015 LHP with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Fallbrook, CA who attends Great Oak. Large frame, lean athletic build with developing strength. Significant velocity uptick in the past year. Pitches from a low three quarters arm slot with a long arm action. Good balance and deliberate pace to delivery, good use of lower half. Good command and lower end of fastball range, can reach back for higher end of range when needed. Sharp break on 1-7 curveball with good depth, located it well down in the zone and just below it. Also showed a quick swing with the bat, though future is brightest on mound. Excellent student. Named to the Sunshine West Top Prospect Team.
