Bruno Aurnhammer is a 2012 RHP/OF/SS with a 6-4 173 lb. frame from Munich - Germany, DEU who attends Ernst-Mach-Gymnasium. Young, long and lean build, lots of physical projection, minimal present strength for age. Calm leg raise delivery, stays tall and balanced over the rubber, high 3/4's to over the top release. Consistent low 80's fastball, topped out at 83 mph, works downhill well to the bottom of the zone, fastball fairly straight but pitches to both sides of the plate. 12/6 curveball release, gets over it well for occasional depth, shorter slider-type break at other times, throws strikes and competes. 7.25 runner, showed some athleticism playing multiple positions around the field, aggressive to the ball, compact quick arm action and release, projects best at third base or left field. Right handed hitter, tall stance, fundamentally strong swing, lacks present strength for bat speed but handles the barrel well. 18 year old German citizen, has a 16 year old build and features, projects to improve with strength. Outstanding multi-lingual student, looking to attend college and play baseball in the States.
