Patrick Lightner is a 2016 SS/2B with a 5-7 152 lb. frame from Gaithersburg, MD who attends Landon HS. Smaller build with some compact present strength. Right handed hitter, slightly open stance, aggressive swing, looking to drive the ball, has some length to his swing but also some bat speed, gap to gap hitter, fluid loose swing with extension, sound approach. 7.12 runner, athletic actions defensively, has lateral agility and good balance, low slot on throws, can improve footwork on throws, second base tools and actions. Solid all around young player. Good student.
