Sonny Ulliana is a 2016 C with a 6-2 215 lb. frame from South Hackensack, NJ who attends Bergen Catholic HS. Big strong durable catcher's build. Right handed hitter, long linear swing with some strength and bat speed, power approach results in some swing/miss but ball comes off the barrel hard when squared, attacks the ball aggressively. High energy catcher, shows leadership ability and hustle, compact arm action with a low throwing slot, gets rid of the ball quickly, 2.00 best pop in drills, 2.09 in games, willing blocker who will have to continue to work on his foot and lower body quickness. Good student.
