2012 National Underclass Showcase-Main Event
Matthew Pilarczyk is a 2014 3B/RHP with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Milton, ON who attends Bishop Reding High School. Has a medium frame and a lean build with room to add strength. Defensively he moves well, good approach to ball, works through it well, long arm action, arm works well, and made accurate throws. At the plate he has a short stroke, line drive swing plane, hard pull contact, has bat speed, and makes consistent contact. Matthew had sustained a hamstring injury prior to the showcase, we expect his numbers and performance to improve when he is back healthy. Matthew also excels in the classroom.
