Logan Allen is a 2015 LHP/OF/1B with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Fletcher, NC who attends IMG Academy. Tall and strong athletic build. Well paced delivery, stays tall over the rubber with good stride and extension out front, 3/4's arm slot, stays balanced well. Upper 80's fastball, mostly straight but has the ability to spot it both glove and arm side, gets downhill well with fastball when in sync. Good curveball with hard spin and depth, has feel for spotting curveball and changing velocity and shape, change up still developing. Polished pitcher best seen over a whole pitch count in a game, tends to overthrow at times. Very good student, verbal commitment to South Carolina.
