Matt Sigurdson is a 2014 C/1B with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Burlington, ON who attends Corpus Christi HS. Medium projectable build with a strong build. Has a leg lift trigger to start at the plate, back load, quiet simple approach with easy swing mechanics, good balance. Shows bat speed, makes line drive contact, gap to gap hitter, has lift in his swing, goes with the pitch well. Good arm strength behind the plate, short arm action, has carry on throws, the ball comes out well, throws are online, solid actions, has good actions behind the plate. Is an interesting prospect to follow.
