Andrew Etchison is a 2014 OF with a 6-0 176 lb. frame from Poway, CA who attends Poway HS. Medium athletic build, has some present strength. Right handed hitter, high back elbow, good lower half and hip use, aggressive swing with some bat speed, line drive swing, solid swing mechanics, shows lift at times for future power, projects well as a hitter with some adjustments and added strength. 7.44 runner, can work through ball better in the outfield, accurate throws, arm strength will improve with better actions. Good student.
