Zachary Genaway is a 2015 C/RHP, OF with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Medford, NY who attends Patchogue-Medford HS. Big frame with a strong athletic build. Continues to get stronger each time we see him. Still has room for more. At the plate he showed good bat speed. His swing has some length to it and he possesses present power. Looks to lift the ball. Made solid hard contact consistently. Behind the plate he has good footwork and a quick transfer and release. Popped a 2.12 which is a huge improvement from the last time we saw him. On the mound he has a shorter arm action and his FB has some arm side run. Could use his lower half a little more. Interesting follow. Outstanding in the classroom.
