Rocky Yasutake is a 2024 1B/OF with a 5-11 188 lb. frame from Cedar Park, TX who attends Cedar Park. Physical, well-rounded build with square shoulders. Well proportioned strength in frame. Ran a 7.79 in the sixty. Showed well in outfield and infield drills, good carry to the bag. Charges. hard on grass, gets it down on time and works through it well. Solid intent, strength behind throws. Showed well at first base too with quick turns to the bag. Gets it out on time and throws well on the move. Left-handed hitter, open stance and high hand set and narrow base. Quick hands packed with strength. Gets into launch and can leverage the barrel out front. Heaviness to the path with real pull-side strength present. Very good student.
