Kewin Ledesma is a 2017 C/3B with a 5-10 190 lb. frame from Montrose, CA who attends Crescenta Valley. Medium-large frame with good, strong build throughout body. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.50 seconds. Hits with high hand set and from open stance, coils front hip into load and uncoils well to hit with hips online. Shifts well into contact with aggressive approach, shows good bat speed with strength, will get to front side a bit early at times. Hammered HR in game action, shows loft in swing and good power potential. Worked out defensively behind the plate. Slight side saddle set, good flexibility, receives very well with strong yet soft hands. Quality footwork and overall fundamental mechanics. Slightly extended transfer from glove to hand, showed good arm strength on consistently accurate throws to 2B. Popped as low as 1.99 seconds. Good student.
