Robert Peto is a 2016 RHP/3B with a 6-4 190 lb. frame from Monroe Township, NJ who attends Monroe Township HS. Tall very athletic build, has some present strength and is very projectable physically. Tall balanced delivery, long and loose arm action, 3/4's arm slot with good extension out front. Upper 80's fastball, topped out at 90 mph, lots more there with physical maturity, works down in the zone very consistently with hard sinking action, lots of weak ground ball contact on his fastball. Hard curveball with shorter slurve type break, occasional 11/5 depth but tends to throw through the break. Better command from the wind up than the stretch, landing inconsistent from the stretch. Very projectable young right hander with a high ceiling. Good student, verbal commitment to North Carolina.
